Brooklyn-based experimental psychedelic band Yeasayer consists of members Anand Wilder, Chris Keating and Ira Wolf Tuton. Their music has been self-described as ‘Middle Eastern-psych-snap-gospel’.

Yeasayer first rose to prominence after appearing at the SXSW festival in early 2007. The band has played alongside MGMT and Man Man and have performed at numerous festivals worldwide.

The band released their debut album All Hour Cymbals in October 2007 to positive critical acclaim. The album spawned the hit single Sunrise.

Yeasayer released their self-produced second studio album Odd Blood in February 2010. The album received largely positive reviews from both fans and critics alike. Will Dean of The Guardian hailed the album ‘a masterclass in modern, multicultural, weirdo pop music’ going on to state that the album is ‘both odd and bloody marvellous’.
