American folk/roots pop singer-songwriter Josh Rouse released his debut album Dressed Up Like Nebraska in 1998. Released to critical acclaim, the album garnered the attention of fans far and wide, allowing Rouse to tour and perform full-time.

2000 saw the release of Home, Rouse’s sophomore record. Some of the songs from this album would later be featured on a variety of television shows and movie soundtracks.

2002 saw Rouse release his first record under the Rykodisc label, titled Under Cold Blue Stars. Follwing a tour with Guster, he released 1972 – a concept album in the style of songwriters from the time of his birth. In 2005 he released Nashville, which features the hit single ‘Winter In The Hamptons’. In 2006, Subtitulo was released, which corresponded with his move to Spain.

2007 saw the release of Country Mouse City House and his most recent album El Turista was released on 1st February 2010. The album contains songs first popularized by Bola de Nieve, a composer often compared to Louis Armstrong, and folk music stylings from Cuba, Brazil, Spain and Venezuela.
