Dance/electronic/drum and bass duo Chase & Status consists of Saul Milton and Will Kennard. Whether it’s drum and bass, hip-hop or dubstep, the duo’s versatility has enabled them to become leaders within the most cutting edge genres.

In the past twelve months the duo’s production work includes some highly-praised remix work for Jay Z and The Prodigy. They have collaborated with Snoop Dogg and more recently worked on Rihanna’s album Rated R.

The duo have had three number one tracks on the UK Dance chart and released their debut album More Than A lot in October 2008. The album received the Best Album award at the 2009 drum and bass awards show.

In April this year, the duo will embark on their biggest live tour to date. The tour will coincide with the release of the first single from their new album, which is scheduled for an August release. The duo say of the tour “we’re really looking forward to getting out on the road and testing out our new material with our live band. I think people are expecting the new album to be full of big American featured artists, but in face we’ve decided to keep it UK, for the most part. We just think there’s more than enough talent in the UK for us to work with, to help create what we hope will be a really exciting record”.

Chase & Status will be performing live at Manchester Academy on Friday 30th April.
